That phrase is kind of a "one size fits all" statement. So, when someone says it to me, i feel that they do not truly want to know about my concerns, it kind of shuts things down in a hurry.
Since I was two weeks old I have moved around with my family, was mostly raised in Mississippi, but found a home in Arkansas. I am a Christian, trying to figure out what God wants and trying to follow the path He has set for me. I feel I have always been in a dance with God. So this has been my life, following God, sometimes with passion, sometimes just following, and other times just not. All I know is He is my Father and I pray we always dance together.

Which part don't you believe?
God is good.
I use this as an intellectual proposition, reasoning that this is the one, single, irreducible item beyond "God Is."
Helps me to shift my focus to goodness, love, light, etc. when I find it skewed toward anxiety, anger, lostness, etc.
Yep, been there (or there-abouts), not fun. I hope it all works out well for you.

I know life is hard, but I wonder if God is good.
